Tim grew up in Philadelphia during the 1960’s, meaning he witnessed social unrest firsthand— and this had tremendous impact on how he developed his personal life goals.
These experiences provide a crucial context to the life he’s dedicated to addressing inequities and helping give a voice to those who have none.
A People’s Person
Tim started as a social worker, serving as a child abuse and neglect case manager for his first decade out of college. Years later, he aggressively negotiated better working conditions for blue-collar employees during his time as an Executive Vice President of a labor union. After beginning his career in the private sector, he turned his focus to fighting for the financial improvement of his clients’ lives.
The common thread running through Tim’s story is one of working selflessly for others, helping people exercise their right to self-determination and helping to enable them to live the life they desire.
When Tim co-founded The Princeton Group with his wife Donna M. Sabb, he believed there was an untapped opportunity in the soon-to-be flourishing independent Financial Advisor market.
His business model is one of providing opportunities to advisors, helping develop strong talents into superb ones, and helping to simplify the path towards prosperity.
More than twelve years later, he still strives to build an environment where Financial Advisors and their clients can grow and flourish.
Outside the Office
Tim is a Seinfeld aficionado and passionate movie buff. Chances are that if you offer him a line from a comedy, he can place it.
Tim is a Certified Investment Management Analyst®
, a designation he earned through the Wharton School of Business and conferred by the Investment Management Consultants Association, of which Tim is a member. He is also a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
