Tim grew up in Philadelphia during the 1960’s, meaning he witnessed social unrest firsthand— and this had tremendous impact on how he developed his personal life goals.

A People’s Person  

Tim started as a social worker, serving as a child abuse and neglect case manager for his first decade out of college. Years later, he aggressively negotiated better working conditions for blue-collar employees during his time as an Executive Vice President of a labor union. After beginning his career in the private sector, he turned his focus to fighting for the financial improvement of his clients’ lives.
 
The common thread running through Tim’s story is one of working selflessly for others, helping people exercise their right to self-determination and helping to enable them to live the life they desire.

Using Strengths  

When Tim co-founded The Princeton Group with his wife Donna M. Sabb, he believed there was an untapped opportunity in the soon-to-be flourishing independent Financial Advisor market.

Every life has a turning point, often at a most unexpected time and way.  Donna’s happened in 2008. 

The Bernie Madoff scandal and the Great Recession converged, presenting her a choice: To leave her fate to the turbulent economy or bet on the skills she built at Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney.

Of course, she chose the latter without flinching.

Donna and her husband Tim, founded The Princeton Group in March 2009. It was to be either the best of times or the worst for the newly minted Financial Services Practice.

All Work Is Honorable
Before her career in financial services, Donna was a social worker. A housekeeper for Mrs. Johnson. A line worker at Ford Motor. At every turn, Donna was driven to create opportunity in her career.

Today, 36 years later, she continues to work just as diligently for her clients. She is a seasoned financial services professional with broad experience in investment planning and developing personal and collaborative client relationships. As a business owner, Donna believes in effective management and team building with visionary leadership, collective goal sharing and stimulating coaching. Donna has the creative ability to develop customized plans to provide both individual results while building a cohesive team environment. Don didn’t mean to, but he fell into his career backwards.

When an injury forced him to retire as a Naval Aviator, he started serving people in a different way: Financially.
 
Along the way, he’s worked as a branch manager, regional sales manager and a management training advisor for industry giants like Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. 

But he’s his happiest as a financial advisor.

The title might be less glamorous, but Don knows the role he plays in his clients’ financial wellbeing carries massive importance.

Don will tell you his job is easy. Literally everyone—no matter their net worth or the amount of investible assets—could use advice when it comes to making sensible, realistic investment plans.

Robyn has always worked for a cause.

After graduating from Penn State, Robyn started her career in the medical field. When her life’s plans changed, she made the natural choice to continue her mission of making lives better, this time as a financial advisor.

The transition from Healthcare to Financial Management made sense because the roles are similar. Both involve difficult conversations. Both require complete two-way honesty. And both focus on well-being. Only instead of her clients’ physical health, she’s now focused on improving their fiscal health.

Like many others, student loans have shaped Robyn’s relationship with money. Robyn is also passionate about mental health awareness and suicide prevention. 

Robyn is a self-described foodie who enjoys exploring restaurants and trying new foods with her friends and family. She’s also no stranger to leading an active lifestyle by traveling, running, doing just about anything outdoors, and practicing yoga and pilates when she gets the chance.

Joe and his wife Angela live in Phoenixville, PA and are the proud parents of two daughters and a son. A familial passion for athletics means you’ll find his children competing in basketball, lacrosse or baseball, while Joe has played and coached just about every sport there is. He also ran the Collegeville Jaguars AAU (basketball) organization for five years and is currently coaches the Spring-Ford Middle School girls’ basketball team in his spare time.

Success in life is determined by where you finish, not where you start. 

David’s 40-year industry tenure is a perfect example of this adage. He started as a stockbroker for Dean Witter Reynolds after graduating from Ursinus College with a degree in economics. 

Soon after, a deeply personal experience forced him to reevaluate his career, leading him to invest his efforts with greater purpose: helping people understand and reach their financial goals. 

Invaluable Experience  

David’s longevity means he has been through many market booms and busts. For any investor, that type of professional experience should inspire confidence.

But just as important—and potentially overlooked—is his life experience.

He has lived through most of the same major milestones his clients have or will experience: Getting married, buying and selling homes or investment properties, saving for his children’s education, handling his parent’s estates, executing strategies to keep taxes in check, preparing for retirement and creating estate planning strategies.

His “been there, helped with that” mentality, along with his extremely relatable personality, nurtures the confidence clients need when making major financial decisions.

David is actively involved in his Church and the Christian Business Community. He has been active in building homes for the poor in Guatemala and currently serves on the Board of Directors for a Community group in Haiti.

Happily married for 30 years, he and his wife are proud parents of three children, the oldest adopted from Guatemala and the youngest from China.

To say Shaun’s career has been molded by his experience working with prominent figures in public policy, economics and law would be an understatement.

Shaun was inspired by Nobel Laureates in Economics, such as Robert Mundel and James Buchanan. He was mentored by public policy thought leaders such as Jack Kemp and Bill Bennett. And he was educated by law and economic scholars such as Richard Ippolito and Francesco Parisi. 

Though he no longer practices law, Shaun served as a former lawyer-economist for influential organizations. That means Shaun has an exceptional understanding of the financial forces, both macro and micro, that affect our lives every day—and he uses that to his clients’ advantage.

Modeling of portfolios is both an interest and a specialty of Shaun’s. While index investing can generate solid results, Shaun prefers considering multiple factors, from historical valuations and growth potential to macroeconomic developments and global economic forces.

I am proud to be one of the first people my friends and clients call when they have a concern, whether it is financial or personal. For more decades than I’d like to admit I’ve watched the markets struggle and soar, doing it again and again. I am more than acquainted with long-term investing and short-term angst. Professionally, I am very proud of my Certified Investment Management Analyst® certification from the Investments & Wealth Institute in conjunction with the Wharton School of Business. As the founder of the Cherry Hill office of The Princeton Group, I am excited to bring our highly focused service model to southern New Jersey. Many of Dan’s clients have been with him for over 35 years. During the last three and a half decades, Dan developed a meaningful understanding of the issues that impact the lives of his clients. He is dedicated to providing a high level of attentive service as he guides clients who are nearing or already in retirement through his retirement income planning process.

Since beginning his career in the Financial Industry in 1987, Dan has had a wide range of experiences – from starting as an institutional municipal bond professional in New York City, to working with Global Private Clients, to becoming an independent financial advisor affiliated with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network.

In addition to his experience, Dan earned a B.A. from Stockton College, holds the Series 7 and 63 FINRA registrations, and earned the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist™ designation.

Dan has extensive experience in assisting high-net-worth clients with concentrated stock strategies, private money management, and alternative investments – along with collaborating with attorneys on trust and estate planning services.

A portion of Dan’s time is devoted to working with small to medium-size privately-held businesses, focusing on the development and implementation of retirement plans that suit their needs. This includes working with 401(k) and defined benefit plans for businesses, 403(b) plans for schools and hospitals, 457 plans for governmental employees, and 457(f) plans for non-profits.

Using timely financial research, Dan is proud of his ability to offer objective advice. He keeps his client’s best interests in the forefront, striving to provide the advice backed with the most appropriate product to solve each individual client’s particular set of challenges. Outside of the office, Dan enjoys golfing, spending time at the beach, and cheering for the Cleveland Browns. He lives with his wife Colleen, and they have three grown children.

Caroline has accomplished more than most will in a lifetime: Authoring four children’s books, presenting a TEDx Talk—even serving as the inaugural Miss Pennsylvania Volunteer.

She’s also already found her dream career: Helping people find financial comfort. And Caroline’s in it for the long haul to help individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofits achieve that goal for generations to come.

She considers herself gritty, never afraid to put in the work, no matter how long it takes. Caroline thinks in terms of decades, not months or years. Her roadmap for building client wealth is pages long, not a paragraph.

The first thing clients notice about Caroline is her endless energy. She throws this same passion into all she does, including her education.

Caroline graduated Summa Cum Laude from King’s College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration—with a double major in Management and Marketing and a minor in Leadership Studies. She also earned with a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning. Caroline is pursuing her second master's degree, a Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics, at the University of Pennsylvania beginning this January.

Caroline holds her Series 7 and Series 66 FINRA registrations, as well as her PA Life and Health Insurance Licenses. She also earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation and the Chartered Retirement Planning Specialist™ designation from the College for Financial Planning. 

But the most important thing she’s learned isn’t in a book. It’s that real results happen when you really listen, cut through the noise, and understand what a client truly needs. And she listens with the same intent as she does everything else.

Fishtown, Philadelphia

Caroline and her business partner established the tenth office of The Princeton Group on Frankford Avenue, the main commercial street in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood, with a mission of making wealth management more transparent, accessible, and authentic.

She is active in the Fishtown, Philadelphia community as the Co-Founder of Fishtown Connect and a Board Member of the Fishtown Kensington Business Improvement District (BID).

Outside the Office  

Caroline is a stranger to sleep. At this very moment, she may be performing as a classically trained pianist, training for her next marathon, or writing another book… quite possibly all at the same time.

Bill Lewis is a Managing Principal and PIM Porfolio Manager with Lewis, Litwinsky & Associates of the Princeton Group, Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network. Previously, he served on the national Board of Governors of The American Red Cross; on the National Advisory Council of the Center for the Study of the Presidency; on the national Board of Family Service America; is a Past President of the Luzerne County Historical Society; a Past President of the Family Service Association of Wyoming Valley; a Past President of St. David’s Society of Wyoming Valley; a Past Chairman of the Wyoming Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross; and a Past President of the Northeast Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution.

Bill received the Rose Brader Community Service Award from the United Way of Wyoming Valley and was awarded the Clara Barton Honor Award for Meritorious Volunteer Leadership from The American Red Cross. He has served as an adjunct professor at Wilkes University and as an adjunct faculty member at King’s College.

Marisa began her financial services career with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in January 2008 and joined Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network in November 2020.

Lori Piazza-Timchack is an Assistant Vice President and Senior Financial Advisor who joined Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network with Lewis, Litwinsky & Associates of the Princeton Group in 2021. Lori brings nearly 20 years of experience in the Financial Services industry to our practice.

She developed bookkeeping and business management skills from a young age, working with her Dad and managing his business. She began her career in the Financial Services industry in Operations and then moved on to a Registered Senior Client Associate at Merrill Lynch, serving clients in those roles for 17 years. She established additional experience with Raymond James Financial and Jacobi Capital Management. Lori has a strong background in client services and strengthening client relationships. She is highly organized, and her attention to detail is unparalleled. Lori holds both her Series 7 and Series 66 FINRA registrations, as well as her PA State Life & Health Insurance License.

Lori was born in New Jersey and moved to Northeastern PA in 1988. She is the proud mom of her daughter, Jessica.  Lori resides in Laflin, PA with her husband Rick. Lori is an active member of Corpus Christi Parish in West Pittston. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, spending time at the shore, and spending time with her three adorable Dachshunds. If Lori has any time free left, anyone who knows Lori will tell you she can usually be found organizing something around the office or in her home.

Chris’s extensive financial and legal education combined with years of investing experience position him well to aid his clients to protect, grow and ultimately transition their wealth.  

Early Influences  

Chris was raised in a family that values financial savvy and responsible investing. His father openly talked about the significance of saving early. He impressed upon Chris the importance of having your money work for you and the incredible impact of compounding interest. These conversations influenced his nearly lifelong fascination with investing and his decision to major in Finance. His early financial education led him intern with his uncle, Marty, who he later partnered with to grow and develop Kelly Private Wealth Management. Marty taught Chris the importance of truly partnering with his clients in order to tailor each experience to meet their varied and individual needs. 

Over his multi-decade career, Chris has earned a reputation as a calming, educated and trusted resource for his clients. It’s a reputation he strives to maintain with every client conversation and decision he makes. 

Protecting and Defending   

Chris views his main responsibility as defending his clients, their wealth, and their assets. He has helped his clients successfully navigate several market downturns. He’s learned that often the times of greatest disruption can provide the greatest opportunities. 

The skills Chris developed as an attorney shine through in multiple ways. While he no longer practices law, his extensive experience dealing with wills and estates help ensure his clients are well-prepared to deal with this crucial, emotional part of their wealth. He’s also learned how to ask probing, open-ended questions so his clients reveal the reasons behind their answers. Through critical thinking and analysis, he is often able to reverse engineer the most reasonable, risk adverse investment strategies to help his clients reach their desired financial future. 

Outside the Office  

Chris spends as much of his time as possible with his wife, Beth, and three boys, Seamus, Graham and Mitchell. In his down time, Chris can often be found golfing and skiing with his sons or on the road to root on their travelling baseball teams. He is active in his community and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Country Club of Scranton and on the Board of Trustees of the Waverly Community House.

He believes what he does sets him apart in the industry: Every year, he aims to hold three teaching sessions: Two for employees and one for employers.

He covers the basics, from budgeting and the difference between stocks and bonds, to advanced material like options trading and establishing trusts.

Second shift, third shift, it doesn’t matter. Clients may need Bob’s time, whether they know it or not. That’s why he spends most of his days reaching out, because even if they don’t know what questions they should be asking, he believes it’s his responsibility to provide answers.

Bob does his part to make the world a better place. A seasoned Army service member, he helps veterans find jobs. He also volunteers for numerous local non-profits.

Jeff understands how one’s relationship with finances can affect their life. As a child of divorce, he saw his mother deal with many emotions when it came to money, ranging from the stress of saving to the fear of not having enough for later in life.


That experience made such an impression that he has made it his mission for nearly 30 years to help his clients—especially women—take an active, hands-on approach to building and maintaining the financial future they want. Part of that mission includes holding educational events such as Wine, Women and Wealth workshops.
 

Enjoying the Process

Jeff believes his biggest strength as a Financial Advisor is building relationships, one conversation at a time. Nothing is more important than fully knowing what matters personally—and financially—to his clients.

As part of his process, he wants his clients to clearly define their lifestyle-driven values, goals and priorities. He’ll ask: “What life objectives are you hoping to reach by building your wealth?” or “What do you want to achieve by working with me?”

The answers form the foundation of what follows.

When appropriate, Jeff prefers to invite spouses, partners or significant others to those important first conversations and subsequent reviews. Because just as the parts of an investment plan need to work together, so do the people involved.

Seeing the process develop, seeing his clients become more confident and live out their retirement based on the plans they made together brings him a great deal of joy and satisfaction.
 

Outside the Office

Jeff pays it forward in his community. He serves on many committees and organizations, including the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Chicago Chapter Board, as Commissioner for the Northbrook  Park District and as President of the Chicago Lions Charitable Organization, which includes the Chicago Lions Rugby team.

He lives in Northbrook with his wife, and they are proud to have raised three successful sons. He loves being active and won a Gold Medal representing the USA in rugby at the World Maccabiah Games in 1997.

Gene is the Managing Partner of Schraeder, Kabala & Associates of The Princeton Group.  He has over 40 years of experience working in partnership with his clients to achieve their financial goals.  During much of his career he also assumed the responsibilities of managing branch offices for A G Edwards and Wells Fargo Advisors.

Early Influences

Gene’s parents were strong believers in the value of a good education and a dedicated work ethic.  After graduating from the University of Notre Dame and then serving with the 101st Airborne in Vietnam, Gene returned home to complete his MBA in finance. His initial job as a financial analyst with a major computer company lacked the sense of fulfillment which he saw his father experience everyday as a respected pediatrician in his hometown. That is when he changed course and became an advisor working directly with families helping them with their investment needs much in the way his dad helped families with their medical health.
 

Role and Vision

Even the best golfer needs a swing coach! 

Gene believes there are 4 components to successful investing: Understanding how the world around you impacts your investments; developing an approach consistent with your risk tolerance; managing in pursuit of goal achievement; retaining focus while under emotional stress.
